Technoflex, which was founded in 1993 with the mission to offer an ecological and durable solution for the elimination of scrap tires, is a leading manufacturer of recycled tire products. Today, Technoflex has the technology and know-how for designing products made of 100% recycled rubber. Our advancements meet the needs of emerging industries in the North American economy.
In early 2009, the winds of change blew through the company. Technoflex changed ownership and became part of a private Canadian consortium. By acquiring the company, the new owners aimed to position Technoflex as a market leader in recycled tire products. In 2010, after a thorough market study, Technoflex moved to a new factory — in Bois-Des-Filion’s industrial park on Montreal’s North Shore — to ensure its growth. The company can now better satisfy growing production demand with the addition of new equipment that meets industry standards.
Technoflex has acquired recycled rubber product manufacturing expertise by developing a complete line of environmentally friendly signage and road safety products for the North American market. In 2000, Technoflex introduced non-skid stair treads made from 100% recycled tires under the Secure-Step brand. These products are available at major department and home improvement stores.
Technoflex is a Canadian company that supports the development of recycled waste for a better world.
